Trust the Lord to Finish What He Began
What concern feels beyond your ability to resolve today? Psalm 138:8 offers this reassurance: the Lord will perfect you, fulfill His purpose, and strengthen you through every uncertainty.
Moreover, because you are committed, the the Lord is committed to completing what He began in your life. He will never abandon you, for He is near to all who call on Him.
Indeed, His promise to perfect you is a guarantee, not a mere suggestion. Therefore, He will strengthen the areas of your life that need development.
God Will Fulfill His Purpose
For example, David’s unwavering faith came from his belief that the Lord would perfect and protect him. As a result, he trusted that God understood his circumstances and would help him.
In 2 Samuel 7:8-16, God established a covenant with David. Through this covenant, He revealed a specific purpose for David’s life. Furthermore, God promised to protect that purpose and fulfill His word.
Likewise, this principle applies to you. God has a unique plan for your life, and He will not permit Satan to derail it.
You Are Complete in Christ
Because you possess persistent faith, trust the Lord’s promise to perfect you. Therefore, remain steadfast. After all, Philippians 1:6 affirms, “He who has begun a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Jesus Christ.”
Yahweh is the Highest of the high and the Greatest of the great. Yet He is willing to become the Lowest of the low and stoop down to meet our needs.
The Lord has saved you for a purpose—His purpose—and He will regard you with favor (Psalm 113:5-9). God is at work on your behalf.

So, when you feel insufficient, hold firmly to God’s promise. Then say, “The Lord will perfect that which concerns me.”

Dear Lord, thank You for caring for me. Help me trust Your work in my life, guide my steps, and rest in Your presence. Amen
