“Do not be afraid. Stand still, and see the salvation of the Lord, which He will accomplish for you today. For the Egyptians whom you see today, you shall see again no more forever.”
— Exodus 14:13 NKJV
Throughout history, God’s people have faced seasons of overwhelming oppression and uncertainty. The Israelites, for example, endured 430 years of harsh slavery under Pharaoh’s rule in Egypt. Yet, at the appointed time, God performed the extraordinary—parting the Red Sea so His people could walk to freedom. When their enemies pursued, God’s power brought final deliverance, closing the sea and ending their bondage forever. This was indeed their year of salvation, a turning point marked by divine intervention.
As I have prayerfully reflected on the coming year and studied the Scriptures, I sense a strong impression that 2026 is a year marked by divine deliverance—the year of salvation. My conviction is not based on speculation. It has grown out of earnest seeking, listening for God’s direction, and meditating on His promises. Just as God fulfilled His word to the Israelites, I believe He is inviting His people today to anticipate new freedom and restoration in their lives.
God’s promises remain steadfast, regardless of the season or the challenges we face. His word never returns empty but always accomplishes its purpose. If you are feeling weighed down by the pressures of debt, anxiety, or any spiritual or emotional bondage, take heart—God’s faithfulness is unwavering. The same God who moved mightily for Israel in Exodus 14 is still working miracles today. Embrace this period, for it is the year when God’s saving power and grace will bring liberation from all that binds you.
Practical Steps to Walk in Spiritual Freedom
- Commit to Daily Prayer: Set aside intentional time each day to communicate with God. Share your burdens with Him. Express your gratitude for His saving power, and listen for His guidance. Prayer opens the door for God’s peace and direction in your circumstances.
- Reflect on God’s Promises: Meditate on Scripture passages that affirm God’s faithfulness and deliverance. Write them down, keep them visible, and declare them over your life whenever doubt arises.
- Seek Support in Faith: Surround yourself with other believers who will encourage you, pray with you, and help you stay anchored in hope. Community provides strength, accountability, and shared wisdom for the journey.
As you step into 2026, release your fears and stop striving to control every outcome. Trust that God’s saving power is at work on your behalf. Embrace this season with hope, letting His peace fill your heart and direct every step as you walk into the year of salvation. Lean not on your own strength, but anchor your faith in the steadfast love of the Lord. Expect the extraordinary, for God’s power is revealed in remarkable ways to those who trust and rely on Him.
This year of salvation is an invitation to experience God’s loving intervention and transformation in every area of your life. Move forward with assurance—God’s plans for you are good, His faithfulness is unshakable, and His deliverance is near for all who put their trust in Him.
Heavenly Father, I desire to walk in freedom from all of the things that held me captive last year. I will not enter the new year in fear. I trust You, dear God, to liberate me as I embrace the year of salvation.
