“The lamp of the body is the eye. If therefore your eye is good, your whole body will be full of light. But if your eye is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in you is darkness, how great is that darkness!” — Matthew 6:22-23 NKJV

The Scripture says in Hebrews 12:2 that we should fix our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfector of our faith. When we do this, the Lord will renew our minds, correct our focus, and fill our hearts with light rather than confusion.

Healthy eyes reflect a healthy spirit. As you read the Bible, ask God to open your eyes, sharpen your discernment, and help you see clearly. The more you fill your mind with God’s truth, the more your life will reflect His light, wisdom, and peace.

Heavenly Father, clear my eyes and steady my heart. Help me turn from distraction and fix my focus on You. Fill me with Your light, Your peace, and Your truth today. In Jesus’ name, amen.
