Safe and Secure

God, who called you to become his child, will do all this for you, just as he promised.

When we get to heaven, we will be safe and secure. The reality of sin will never cross our minds. There will be no need to watch for the fowler or his snares, because there will be no devil to ensnare us. There, the wicked will cease from causing trouble, and the weary will be at rest. How do we know? Because God has promised, and He will keep His word.

Heaven is our promised inheritance. There, we will be safe and secure; there, we will have no fears. Our struggles will be over, replaced by unending peace and joy. We will join the great family of God and gather around His throne. But must we wait until we get to heaven to be safe? Can we be secure in the land of the living?

God Will Protect You Now!

Each day brings fresh evidence of God’s faithfulness, ensuring our feeling of security remains strong. He gently reassures us that, while the ultimate security awaits us in heaven, we can have confidence here and now.

1 Thessalonians 5 tells of a time of uncertainty that will come upon the earth. But God protects those who love Him, often in miraculous ways. We are never alone or defenseless. The angel of the Lord is with us. They keep watch over those who love Him, keeping them safe and secure. Even if we do not see these guardians, we can trust that they protect us. When we are mindful of God’s watchful care, it will encourage us to face challenges with courage and hope, trusting that we are never truly alone.

May God give you a sense of your safety in Christ Jesus! May He assure you that your name is engraved on His heart. Listen intently for that gentle whisper in your ear, “Fear not, I am with you.” Even in times when uncertainty clouds our path or when anxieties threaten to overwhelm, we can rest in the assurance that God’s promises remain steadfast. His presence brings comfort in every circumstance, and His love serves as our unshakable foundation, keeping us safe and secure. Let this knowledge inspire us to walk each day with faith, knowing that our security is anchored in Him.
