Safe and Secure

God, who called you to become his child, will do all this for you, just as he promised.

In Christ, we are safe and secure—now and forever. This promise that we are safe and secure in God’s faithful care gives us courage for today and hope for eternity. When we get to heaven, sin will never cross our minds. We will no longer need to watch for the fowler or his snares. The devil will have no place to trouble us. The wicked will cease from causing trouble, and the weary will be at rest. How do we know? God has promised, and He will keep His word.

Heaven is our promised inheritance. There, fear will be gone. Our struggles will be replaced by unending peace and joy. We will join the great family of God and gather around His throne. But must we wait until heaven to be safe? Can we be secure in the land of the living?

God Will Keep You Safe and Secure

Each day gives us fresh evidence of God’s faithfulness. These daily reminders assure us that we are safe and secure in His care. Our ultimate security awaits us in heaven, but God also gives us confidence here and now.

Psalm 91:11 reminds us that God sends His angels to watch over His people. They guard us wherever we go. His care is not distant or uncertain. He surrounds us with heavenly protection and keeps us faithfully in His hands.

1 Thessalonians 5 tells of a time of uncertainty that will come upon the earth. But God protects those who love Him, often in miraculous ways. We are never alone or defenseless.

The angels of the Lord are with us. Even when we do not see these heavenly guardians, we can trust God’s watchful presence. We can face each challenge with courage and hope.

May God give you a deep sense of your safety in Christ Jesus. May He assure you that your name is engraved on His heart. Because you are safe and secure in Him, listen for His gentle whisper: “Fear not, I am with you.”

Even when uncertainty clouds the path or anxiety presses close, God’s promises remain steadfast. His presence brings comfort in every circumstance. His love is our unshakable foundation. Walk today with faith, knowing that you are safe and secure in Him.
