Put Your Foot On It

Featured Post Image - Put Your Foot On It

God has given us many precious promises. And all the promises in Him are yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us. God promised health, wealth, freedom from depression and oppression, and much more. But to possess them, you must stand up and put your foot on it.

Joshua 10:24-25

Joshua was on a mission to take the land God had promised him. He marched all night from Gilgal to Gibeon and suddenly overtook the armies of the five kings. But the kings fled the battle and hid in a cave. The Israelites told Joshua they found the five kings hiding in a cave. But Joshua told them to block the entrance with large stones and to continue pursuing the enemy.

Once the battle ended, Joshua returned to the cave where the five kings hid. He commanded the soldiers to bring them out. And when they brought them out, Joshua said to his men, “Come near and put your feet on the necks of these kings. Do not be afraid, nor be dismayed; be strong and of good courage, for thus the Lord will do to all your enemies against whom you fight.”

Stand On Your Faith

Our enemies are not flesh and blood; they are spirits. “For we are not fighting against people made of flesh and blood, but against persons without bodies—the evil rulers of the unseen world, those mighty satanic beings and great evil princes of darkness who rule this world; and against huge numbers of wicked spirits in the spirit world.” (Ephesians 6:12 TLB).

God promised you health, wealth, freedom from depression and oppression, and much more. But these spirits are squatting on the promises. In Matthew 11:12, the scripture says that the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, but the violent take it by force. So, do what Joshua did and put your foot on it. Take from the enemy everything that God has promised you.

Dear Lord, help me defeat every satanic spirit that is squatting on my promises. Today, I will be strong and courageous, and I will put my foot on the necks of the spirits that are squatting on my stuff. Today, I will take back everything the enemy stole from me. I ask that you teach me how to fight the good fight of faith so that I may defeat my enemies, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
