Jesus Makes the Impossible Possible
In Mark 9, a desperate father faced an impossible situation with his son (Mark 9:14-29). He had gone everywhere for help, but no one could do anything until he brought his son to Jesus.
An evil spirit tormented the boy. It caused seizures, rigidity, and repeated attempts to destroy him. Realizing he could not save his son on his own, the father turned to Jesus in faith.
When the spirit saw Jesus, it threw the boy into a violent convulsion. The father watched his son fall to the ground and foam at the mouth. Then he pleaded, “If You can do anything, have compassion on us and help us.”

Faith for the Impossible When Belief Feels Weak
The father believed Jesus could heal his son. Yet he still asked for help with his unbelief. That tension is real.
In desperate moments, it is possible to have faith for the impossible and still wrestle with doubt. Many believers know Isaiah 53:5 by heart—“by His stripes we are healed.” Yet they still struggle when healing does not come right away.
Trust the Finished Work of Christ in Impossible Situations
If you believe in the finished work of Christ, then also believe God loves you. He cares about your impossible situation.
The real question is not whether God is able. It is whether you will trust Him to move in your life. Faith in impossible situations begins with confidence in His love, power, and promises.
How to Pray with Faith in Impossible Situations
Maybe you have been praying in faith for healing, deliverance, or freedom from addiction. Still, you have not seen results. Do not grow complacent or discouraged.
Instead, tell the Lord you believe and ask Him to help your unbelief.
Do not let doubt or despair rob you of your faith in the finished work of our Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus has already won the victory over sickness, addiction, poverty, and every attack of the enemy.
When you need faith for the impossible, ask God to help your unbelief and trust Jesus to do what only He can do.
