Time To Seek The Lord

‘It is time to seek the Lord.”

Hosea 10:12

If you do not know the Lord, now is a good time to seek the Lord. The month of April derives its name from the Latin verb “aperio,” which means to open. In April, the buds and blossoms of flowering plants begin to open. These April blossoms bring us to the year’s gates of flowers. So, if you do not know the Lord, take note of the flowering buds of nature. It is time to open your heart to receive the Lord.

All the blossoming flowers convey that now is the time to seek the Lord. Friend, be in tune with nature by letting your heart bud and bloom with the desire to know the Lord. I urge you today to give your life to the Lord to enjoy His beauty and unspeakable joy.

Many of today’s young people are perishing in the prime of their lives. As a result, some have never experienced their first bud of life. That is why it is time to seek the Lord, for Christ is an open door. Salvation is priceless, for it leads to eternal life. The Scripture says in Hebrews 3:15 NIV, “Today if you hear His voice, do not harden your heart.” Do not say, “I will do it tomorrow; I still have time.” Because no one is promised tomorrow, seek the Lord while there is time.

Pursue His Mercy

Days turn into years, and with each passing year, death draws nearer. So, seek the Lord and allow each spring return to arouse you to set your house in order. Now is the time to seek the Lord because the faithful love of the Lord never ends! His mercies never cease. Great is his faithfulness; His mercies start each morning afresh (Lamentations 3:22-23 [NLT]). It is truly a time to seek the Lord. Do not dwell on what you did wrong yesterday. The Lord has given you fresh mercy this morning.

We should be thankful for that. Still, we should also be mindful that a limited season grows shorter by the second. Enjoy spring’s beauty today and heed the budding flowers’ warning, “It is time to seek the Lord.”

Dear Lord, as I open my heart to You today, please come into my heart. Bring forth abundant growth, flourishing, and prosperity in Your love. flower, and prosper in Your love.
