It blesses me so much to know that when we come before God, He sees us as faultless. Our God has delivered us from the power of darkness so that we can reign with Him in the Kingdom of His Son, which is to come.
“He has delivered us from the power of darkness, and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins.”

Isn’t it comforting to know that God, in His infinite power, has delivered us from the darkness that engulfs this present age? The Old Testament prophet Isaiah foresaw this: “For behold, darkness shall cover the earth, and deep darkness the people. But the LORD will arise over you, and His glory will be seen upon you” (Isaiah 60:2). I believe you and I are witnessing this prophecy unfold today, as love grows cold and evil people grow worse. But in the midst of this, we are secure in God’s deliverance, for God is light, and He has divided light from darkness, delivering us from its power.
The Twilight of Divine Exchange
Satan, the prince of darkness, is the force behind this evil and abhorrent wickedness. Condemnation is one of his primary tools. He prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking to devour (1 Peter 5:8). Praise God; we have been delivered from the power of darkness. His reign of terror ended when Jesus, through His sacrifice, clearly delivered us from the darkness and disarmed the rulers of darkness at the cross. A divine exchange took place at the cross. God made Jesus, who knew no sin, to be sin for us so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him (2 Corinthians 5:21). This righteousness is not something we can earn; we can only receive it through faith in Christ. Therefore, to become righteous, we only need to believe in Christ and receive His righteousness, which empowers us to live in His victory.
Therefore, if you have faith, let your faith speak, for believing faith speaks. Throughout the day, express your gratitude to God. He has delivered us completely from the power of the darkness of this age. So, be of good cheer, for God is with you. Whatever you need deliverance from, trust in the promise of God’s faithfulness. He is just and faithful, delivering you with hope and reassurance in every situation.
Prayer
Lord, I thank You for delivering me from the power of darkness. I am the righteousness of God in Christ. I thank You, Father, that I am free to live the victorious life of the righteous. Amen
